Career Mission Flight Plan

Can someone help me with a flight plan.

I have made this trip for a career mission but are struggling how and where i do a transition from NAV to VNAV.
The airport is near the mountains and i have to loose altitude verry fast
I probably do something wrong. Should i use an arrival in these cases?

And what is the best way to plan trips over the mountains. How do i get the altitudes correctly for my flight plan

If there is an arrival available that makes sense for your flight plan I would use that. they will have altitude restrictions at some intersections to guide you down
