I am really happy about the outage.
Made me stop playing, and watch some streams instead.
Where i first time saw NeoFly being used.
I knew there where external programs available for MSFS, but i thought they where mainly for virt. airline stuff.
Tried NeoFly and had a lot of fun the last few days.
Sure it is not perfect, but for what it is, i am amazed about how many things it does so much better than MSFS Career Mode.
(by just running in background during Free Flight)
- FILTERS for missions.
- You can take loans.
- You can rent planes.
- You can fly at any time you want, day AND NIGHT.
- You can adjust weather to whatever you prefer (and date/time of year)
- There are about 500x more missions available, so you can actually go where you want to go.
- No fog of war/spent eternity or fortune to unlock BS, can see everything and go everywhere from beginning.
- You instantly see if a destination is viable, as it shows you longest rwy, rwy type and available facilities.
- You can buy goods at all airports, which you can then sell on another for profit. (can combine that with mission, if some space left in plane)
- It lets you load cargo in to a passenger plane.
- It does not care which runway you land on (or even change it on you last second) or where exactly you park.
- Has random events happening during missions to keep it exciting.
- You can take a mission, fly somewhere, take another, fyl somewher else… in one go, no constant reloading.
- There is a log that tells you exactl for what you got extr XP/$ or what you did wrong to get less XP/$.
- Passengers/crew do not repaet the same 10 sentences in every single mission agaqin and again and again in same 2000 era bad text to speech.
After using NeoFly for a few days, i undertand even less how MS/Asobo dared to deliver MSFS2024 Career Mode as it is.
And i was truly stunned before, by that collection of bugs, bad design/gameplay and bad UI.
