Career mode - Flightplan, Garmin and EFB bugs

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:

All using the Cessna 172 Skyhawk.

  1. The efb flightplan never seems to match the in-plane Garmin flight plan. ie my external view compass’ purple GPS line never matches the in-plane Garmin purple line. They often aren’t that far apart. This also seems to confuse autopilot which sometimes will do nothing when you turn on Nav mode.

  2. The in-plane flightplan (and so autopilot) seems to miss the bits between departure and approach, heading straight towards the destination runway after leaving the departure turn, ignoring the approach pattern that is shown both in the efb and in Garmin…

  3. The efb map doesn’t show waypoints, only airports when trying to set up a route. It makes creating a route more difficult than it needs be.

  4. No altitude legend on efb map.

  5. Sending the flightplan to avionics is erratic. Sometimes kinda works, other times just does nothing. Can also break your mission as it doesnt always register the mission steps and progress.

  6. I did a decent landing, the plane stopped on runway, and then refused to move. Brakes were definitely off. Mission aborted.

  7. In the night certification, I did the circuit, landed, did the ATC stuff but the tracker wouldnt progress and so I had no idea where I needed to park. Tracker had “acknowledge taxi” in green, but wouldn’t bring up the blue line and box.

Same issues for me

Same here, it’s clearly a mismatch of what we see in the EFB and garmin on the plane.

For cruise the NAV is offset to a side, usually left from the recommended path, but procedures are all over the place, taking me off the path the mission “expects” me to take.

In many missions even the cruise flight level doesn’t make sense for the distance, the “blue”/mission path is always too low for the distance we have to travel.

• not relevant

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:
• game flight plan is always off from garmin flight plan, and nav mode doesn’t always work it will do circles instead of track fp line… landed at airport 56S and came to abrupt stop and wouldn’t move forward after and brakes were off
