Regardless of the time that it says for the mission, even if you catch some of the live (red-dot missions) or rewind the 24h to a “live” mission, once you load in, you’re always going to get the same sun-angle. This results in frankly a kind of boring, static light for all career travel. I also feel like the sun position is impossible for the time of year that it is now in some regions, I think its reverting to a different month entirely
For example, I took a mission in Minnesota (where I’m living now) that was “live” at 15:43 and was going to last past 1630. I’ll tell you right now, the sun is gone at 1630 basically. When I loaded into the mission, the sun was like a 10 or 11am sun. I tried the same with every other kind of flight time with the same result.
Something’s really wonky with the time, and you can see the EFP date time is like always August of 2022 for some reason and maybe that’s related.
