Yep tried to setup up a character and wen i select a face there is a glitch and it shuts down the game and returns back to xbox home. Ive tried uninstall and reinstall and that doesnāt help. I heve even done factory reset on the xbox hoping this will sort it outā¦but no it hasnāt.
OP is lucky they didnāt spawn into a āyou crashedā screen. This must not be freelance.
I can only deduce that the character is stored server-side and you will need to open a bug ticket for Asobo to crash less when it encounters broken character states. 
Oh my God! Iām going crazy. Every time I fly passengers I get a CTD.
Hopefully this will be fixed in the next update.
It feels like weāre going in circles.
They really rushed the release.

My exact issues. Game really running fine exept. Im at a constant level D in reputations because if theese bugs, so unable to keep a plane or to advance in career mode. If this continues im out.
Iāve bought the bonanza twice now in career mode, and each time the plane simply wonāt start. Iāve spent at least $300k additional to repair the plane sine I got a used one but they refuse to start and let me do a mission for my company. Grinding missions to lose all the money on a useless plane is frustrating. This is ridiculous!
This career mode is a good idea in MSFS2024 but at the moment it is really too buggy.
Asobo/MS sells us dreams for months but the reality is a vast nightmare.

The procedures sometimes make you do anything and you find yourself penalized.
Big problem with planes, lights not functional, penalty when using the flaps on some.
I imagine that it was illusory to hope for a simulator with at least the maturity of MSFS2020 which may not be perfect but which at least has the merit of having working planes.
I finally have a lot more fun using MSFS2020 and NEOFLY, at least it works well in VR.
MSFS2024 is simply not ready yet and having to pay 140 euros for it, I admit that it hurts!!!

Iāve decided Iām not buying anything without an easy to use g1000, i might go after a skyhawk for the first business as i have a lot of licenses that are left to learn and need money for them lol, but yeah theres some weirdness. What happens if I donāt have enough for the insurance at any point? Idk
I got all the licenses. I can say with certainty that 90% of missions have problems. Either the runway is not the same as the dispatcher, or the headlights, or entering the taxiway or runway without permissionā¦ There are always some reasons for which the rating is lowered.

I might be wrong, but i did a load test on my pc as it kept crashing or taking forever to load, this game is heavily dependent on settings. After load testing i noticed my GPU was in the red, i made several adjustments to settings and the crashes have stopped. DLSS on auto and dropping LOD was a big help
My flaps were extended when flying above their maximum speed at one point.
Thing was, I was parked up on stand with parking break on 
try shift+q or e
No Windows activated probably thatās why
The whole fact that we have to use windy.com instead of a proper interface for flight planning is absolutely infuriatingā¦
Doing medium cargo missions and 80% of the time I get āUndesignated landing areaā when landing in the middle of the correct runway. Nice.
Also ran into this. Flew entire flight, no skip and couldnāt find the parking. (arrows into hangar). I wondered if the hangar was like the cars and planes on the pad and you can drive/taxi through themā¦ you canāt, CRASH. My only crash.

I definitely do not understand the rating system. I fly majority of flights S rating (over 50%), most that are not are because of some unforeseen moment that I donāt understand (entering runway without permission while receiving taxi instructions to cros runway X 
_), but it seems like if you fly an S flight that is lower than your previous S flight it will reduce youā¦
What doesnāt make sense is being an S rating and flying an S flight (ok, maybe a lower S flight than prior, but being reduced in the screen from S to Aā¦ (heavy penalty) for a flight without any issuesā¦ not sure how this scores that. I wish they would tell you exactly where you were penalized. Closest Iāve come to perfect was 1% off one of the bars, but I have no idea why.

Has there been any news on when we might get some bug fixes for career mode? The update next week sounds like it wonāt have any?
