More realistic heli missions e.g:
Search and rescue/ hoist missions:
fly from an airport to the rescue team basis and pick them up, continue to the search area. After location drop off the patient at a hospital.
heli cargo missions:
Start from an airport, fly towards the destination. Pickup the cargo close to the destination and drop it off. Maybe also have an option to do several flights in one mission.
I live in a mountain region and that’s how these two real life jobs are done.
I think the fuel prices is the main one for me. Absolutely.
I was Taking a relook at everything we need, we just need a default B767 300/ 300er to replace the Airbus in the intro to heavy cargo mission with using the B 767 300F series of that was a default aircraft because the a330 is more advanced than a b767 300, the 767 300 would be better and easier for newcomers for heavy cargo, and we also need to have a default CRJ 200, so we have something after the Saab 340B that goes with the Saab 340B that operated in the same era as the 340B, other than those two aircraft we have an OK career mode
And give the possibility to unlock new map areas by a flight to an airport. Or by helicopter missions. I’m a helicopter only pilot and I don’t want to fly planes just to unlock new areas
You don’t need to fly planes to unlock map areas. Wherever your avatar is on the map, scroll right down next to your avatar area about equidistant in radius to an airport and click on it and an option will come up to allow you to pay a small fee to port there and a new area will open up.
Indeed you can port to any area and open it up but the further you go from your pilot symbol/avatar the more you pay!
Well that opened up a few more missions. Thankyou. Is there some sort of list of these hidden bonuses and how to activate or access them?
I have found a new add on which does quite alot. It is like on air but perhaps more detailed. airopsfs. org but there is a paid version I am not sure I want to explore.

Also when Boeing finally comes out with the b797, I’m hoping that all the variants that aircraft will be in the game as soon as possible if that aircraft ever releases IRL (because from FSX, I overflew the 757 way too much, and if the 797 is that aircraft’s replacement, I might enjoy flying it)
Okay I didn’t know that. Thanks for the information. But in general it is easier to unlock new map parts by flying an airplane and it would be. I’ve to have the same opportunity with helicopters
All good points. My main gripes are better sorting of aircraft within each company &/or not resetting back to the beginning of the list after maintenance. Same with the company list, it starts at the top and have to scroll down to the next company. And when filtering mission types, only those aircraft compatible with those missions should be shown. If I’m doing oversized cargo, I don’t care where my sightseeing planes are. And the yellow pins should have a helicopter icon if it’s a heli
