default High settings, nominal hardware and nothing new since yesterday when Career worked correctly (or as it should in beta with all unlocks and 1million credits)
You’re not going to get a lot of testing done in career mode with this. While I enjoyed the process the first time, I came to grow heartily sick of stalling around the sky in first light and flightseeing. Colosely followed by skydiving. I’ll give it a miss for now.
Thanks for your reports regarding this. The Development Team are investigating this issue, and if we have anymore information that we’re able to share we’ll make sure to update this thread!
Please allow us to actually restart the career. I know the idea is to have it all unlocked for testing, but I think many people will not feel the need to test in a career that is useless. If we can actually advance our career progress from the beginning we will be more likely to test it.
The dev team identified an issue that was affecting some players which caused their Career to be reset to default in the latest 1.6.13.0 test build. The devs made a server-side configuration change, and this issue should now be resolved for those who were experiencing it. Restarting your sim will be necessary for this fix to take effect.
For those who had a reset career in 1.6.13.0, can you please restart the sim and confirm if you are now seeing the expected career progression with all specializations unlocked for testing purposes?
Weird thing to try, but it couldn’t hurt - have you tried resetting your career manually? If the default state of the mode in beta is meant to be 1,000,000,000cr, etc., then maybe manually resetting that will update things to that default state.
