Description of the issue: After VIP flight received 0 pay and experience after 12/2/24 patch

It is most probably due to their current maintenance window on the career mode, in order to solve the CTD issues other people encountered after the update from yesterday.

"To resolve a crash in Career mode discovered by the community following the release of 1.1.10.0 yesterday, we will perform Career mode maintenance between 10 AM – 12 PM PT (6 PM – 8 PM GMT) today.

During this period (for about 20 minutes) Career mode will be unavailable. A “Career mode is under maintenance” message will be displayed on the main menu and when attempting to access Career mode. Users currently in Career mode missions may notice their scores will not be saved. If not in a mission, purchases for your company, Certifications, etc. will also lead to an unexpected error.

When the maintenance ends, you may need to relaunch the sim to re-enter Career mode (if the Career mode tile on the main menu still appears unavailable).

There was no crash, I got an “s” reward bar with 0 cash and xp for a 2.5 hr vip flight with my company when it finished. There was no lock on career and before mentioned time. Why would network connectivity have an effect on score anyway? That would be before it saves to anything.

I could see the team not considering a network issue when testing internally but not having a local save to sync if an issue arises would just be lack of knowledge or very poor planning/testing. I see no reason that online would be involved in calculation of a flight score. That would have to be done all locally due to unnecessary network operating costs.

Which if you go back and look the time that you posted this article was right around the time frame they said they were going to be doing maintenance on career mode and what would happen if you were flying in career mode and the things would not register go check out the maintenance window because I guarantee you that’s what it is

I finished at 9am pst. I did not post until later in the day due to it being a busy day for me with work related stuff. As I stated before, career was not locked and I did not have a CTD
