I just wanted to point out to all that there is now two vendors in the marketplace selling LFTZ-St. Tropez La Mole airport scenery. Don’t do like me and hit the download button on the latest one thinking you’re just downloading an update of the one you previously purchased. I’ve now paid for two of the same airport. One of them is a 1.15GB file and the other is 330MB! I’ve contacted the vendor about a refund of the second purchase and will report here what happens.

Which one is the larger package? I have yet to buy that airport and trying to decide which one packs more stuff in and is better quality? NOTAM did a review of the Starport one and it wasn’t that great…
The Aerosoft version is about 700MB compressed and 1.15GB unpacked in the community folder

I spent my childhood holidaying around here and I love the airport here. So many memories here. It was the first airport I downloaded.
From memory, I’m not at my computer right now, if it’s something you already own there is just one button, “Download”.
If it’s some thing you don’t own, there are two buttons, I think: “Buy”, and “Buy and Download”. Perhaps the operative word is install?
I live just nextdoor. And it’s not an airport … just a billionaire runway. I find it hard to understand the enthusiasm for this aerodrome. Friendships.

I’d say they are very close. I’d say the Stairport version is better for the price (they were cheaper) and it is also the larger of the packages. I think mainly because they have a bunch of modeled aircraft sitting around on the ramp as well as some people sitting in the cafe, taking pictures etc. The Pilot Experience Sim version is the lighter package but more expensive.
Both have some trouble modeling the stream running around the outside of the strip, but I think this is a sim AI rendering issue. I’m no expert though!

But coming right after a major sim update and having had to re-download the Carenado Mooney (still issues with that A/C), I thought I was doing the same thing. Brain fart of my part I believe.
Done the same thing in the current sale, tried a flight there and couldn’t get near without CTD, only now after redownloading everything again I noticed I had two of that airport.

Nope, never heard a peep from them…
I uninstalled it and just left the Stairport version installed.
I notice the two versions when I was buying it and picked the one with the most ratings which turned out to be the Stairport one.
Whoops, just realised I did the exact same thing. Got ‘sale happy’ and bought up all the things, and have a dupe of this aerodrome.
Is the Stairport one the ‘recommended’ one of the 2 to keep?
In case it helps anyone (not that I made this mistake myself) there are also 2 Blackbushe variants on the store.
One from LN Design (4* with 8 reviews, £9.59) and one from SC Designs (0 reviews, £16.74). Does anyone know which is ‘better’?
