I’ve noticed there is always someone tinkering career mode behind the scenes server side. Incomunnicado stuff
It seems so. I do wonder how they set these prices. I bought 1 at the previous price. I don’t know why they can’t reduce the price of the CJ4 just as easily
At least it wasn’t a price increase like the Cj4. still reasonable, but also it’s at least proof they are updating things behind the scenes
I bought it this morning and while the sounds are mid and the rudder is extremely sensitive, she’s really fun to hand fly. Its a nice little jet.
Anyone knows how to find the changelog for the last update (12/1/2025) ?
On the product page on the Carenado website.
Latest update:
– Improved general sounds.
– Improved avionics alert system.
– Improved Alt Select knob functionality
Same here, my speed break axis works and is killing speed when used, but nothing visualy displayed on the plane (the switch and the spoilers on the wings)
Flew the 390 today for the first time in a while KRNT to KGPI, great flight up until landing… are failures modeled in the 390?
As its Career-compatible it must have a certain degree of modeled failures, but not sure how those work in Free Flight.
I had no indication of my landing gear down and locked, kept flashing red. cycled gear and still not D&L indication. chose to land anyway, because sim, and wound up sliding down the runway on my belly (gear still down, just underground now) it was interesting that I slid down the 9000’ and off the end before I got the “back on track” message.
Gear still down, just underground
Has anybody tried this with the updated sounds? Does it still sound like a [cheap] vacuum cleaner?
definitely sounds more like a jet, it is quite high pitched for my liking but small turbines will always sound higher pitched due to higher RPM.
@hobanagerik had this in one of the aircraft he was flying. I forget which one but he did a bit of rummaging around in the databases.
Sounds are still bad
