Carenado Cessna 182T Skylane

The thing I really wanted, was what I had seen in the Missionary Bush Pilot videos, where you create a VNAV profile, and it shows you a blue arc which indicates your bottom of descent. It’s not in X-Plane either, and TOD seeems to behave a bit oddly there as well.

We have no VNAV whatsoever, currently, which is a shame.

In the patch notes they say they fixed NAV mode but for me it’s still broken. It won’t follow the magenta line, it will keep overshooting and constantly steer left and right.

yeah, but for training i like the old gauges.
G1000 etc. is okay, but several times its to simple when you have all Information in one Display (or two)… C172 / C182 and others should be ever available in both configuratios

You have completely misinterpreted my statement but likewise, I don’t give a fig as to what you think either!

Ok , i figured it out. hint. for those who will stumble upon this . Clicking on logo un-hides ipad pro

Guys, I dont know in what shape was AP before patch, I purchased the product hour ago in good faith but in NAV mode, plane just keeps deviating to the left then to the right from supposed course and cant fly straight :frowning:

I didnt experience such a behaviour with default planes so far :open_mouth: let alone the product which costs half the simulator price

What’s Horometer? The stopwatch or the hobbs meter?

Since the patch would any of you guys recommend it? Or is it still not worth it? Nav mode still broken sounds like a bummer

This and weird trim, other than that seems nice. But someone who had the previous version as well should compare

How do you bring up the checklists in the 182 and the tablet?

How can you tell if the update to the 182 has been installed?

Hey y’all, how did you get the update?

I logged in but didn’t get any update notification?

thanks

Although I do not own it, does it not list the installed version within the content manager?

If you look at your flight plan you will see that there is no leg highlighted. You will need to highlight and activate your current leg.

I’m assuming this is a bug and hopefully one of the AP fixes Asobo will make for the next patch.

Go to Content Manager. It will say something like “Ready for Update”.
They should sort updates so that they appear at the top. I’ll make that suggestion.

You don’t. You use the PDFs in the 182s Documentation folder.

■■■■, I tried that, it still doesn’t give me the usual update option.

I bought it on the marketplace, so it should show the update in the C182 window where it says “Owned” correct?

thanks

It didn’t for me. It only displayed it content manager.

After owning over 25 Carenado/Alabeo aircraft, I learned to just stick with A2A. Wasted a ton of money on planes I never fly due to technical issues and lack of depth in systems. Never again will I fall for the eye candy.
