Just bought the M20R and with all the plane lights on, I get a pretty big FPS loss of around 15 fps. Navigation lights and the ident lights cause the biggest loss of fps, on land and in the air.
Any way to fix this, will devs investigate this issue?

This is because of the “light shaft” settings I also have a big fps drop from 40 to 26 at night with lights on.
You can tune down this settings to gain some fps or disable it although it won’t look as good as when they are on but until they optimize it.. It’s the way to go I guess for now.

Oh that’s interesting, good catch. I was going to say that I didn’t see a difference and that would be why. Mine is already off.
I get the same drop in FPS when I switch on glareshield / instrument lighting and this drop remains when they are then switched off. Only way to recover FPS is to switch off battery and avionics and power back up with the knobs turned off.
