Carenado Mooney M20R not able to display external elements without showing pilots

Hey everyone,

since my purchase of the Mooney M20R about a month ago I am not able to activate any of the static elements from the tablet options without getting pilot and copilot automatically activated. I cannot deactivate them, a click on each OFF button does nothing. When I deactivate all external elements I am able to switch both pilot and copilot on and off as desired.

I have already deleted the aircraft folder and downloaded it again via MSFS content manager. Did not change anything, same behavior.

I also own the Seneca V, surprisingly all options work perfectly there. I can activate all external options independently from the pilots.

I have already created a case at Zendesk Support, just wanted to know if this is a known bug and is there any solution/workaround to it?

That’s a Carenado product.
Zendesk won’t be able to anything.
You will need to contact Carenado to get that fixed.
However, at the risk of being jumped on, they are known for their lack of customer service.

I have a similar issue. Wrote Carenado as well…crossing fingers. @Summonity2647 - did you figure anything out? Thx
