Itâs not just this plane itâs every one in the sim. This is affecting us all and should be a priority to be resolved. Crosswinds make it worse.
Oh, is this a new issue? I donât remember this behavior in the past. If so, I wonder if itâs related to the changes they are making to modeling propeller air flow and potentially stuff related to upcoming glider dynamics?

I am checking the Ovation after a longer break. I made the last update. I donât see if I can turn OFF the Bendix ADF and the GNS530 indivudually. Of course Radio Master switch turns them ON/OFF. I can switxh other navigation equipments off individually.
Is there any solution for the underpowered engine? I made very detailed measurements with the old version and it had matched quite well with the official values. With the current vestion it has much less power. EGT is way less that it had been (and than the real life values).
Has anyone contacted carenado about this lack of power? Any response? I been wanting to get back into the mooney, but now reading thisâŠ

The moral of the story being donât buy Carenado. This is not news itâs always been their MO. The only way it will ever change is if you vote with your wallet.

Oh I know that! Itâs unfortunate, really. But apparently this performance bug has been around for a while!

Well, I just got a reply from Carenado, saying that this is the first time that they are hearing about this issue. Has seriously no one else submitted a ticket for this??
This is not true, for example I reported it in September 2021 as I just checked on their ticketing system.
Holy cow. Well send em another ticket, if you could.
I would bet my mother in law that this is their standard reply for every ticket they get.

Even if that were true it proves that they either donât bother trying to read the room by checking out the forums or have but choose to ignore what they see.
They also closed your ticket after replying and waiting for a new ticket to be opened with video proofs. That is niceâŠ
I have three pages of old very detailed flight performance data from the old version on different altitudes. I try to rerun those tests and compare the results. If I succeed, I will also open a ticket. But I encourage others also to open such tickets with test data comparing flight parameters (OAT, Alt, Fuel flow, RPM, CHT, MP, HP%, EGT, IAS) with the real aircraft performance data and possibly with data from the old vesion.
