It’s not messed up totally, the view looking at the left wing is so you can see the fuel level gauge. When on the ground the digital fuel level indicators are incorrect, they are calibrated for displaying the correct value in level flight. So on the ground you need to check the wing fuel gauge. They did get the button direct reversed though.
A fs2020 problem? Are you sure, for me this is the first time I encountered this Avionics issue. On the Mooney it rarely powers up and most of the time not for long. I love the plane but it still has got a lot of bugs
It definitely is and it looks like it has been narrowed down to aircraft ground traffic. A lot of posts on the topic. It is happening to more than the Mooney.
I would buy it. I’m looking forward to a patch to fix some minor issues already presented by others. But if you get it now you will find it’s a marvelous little bird!
I’d wait until it gets patched, then if it doesn’t you have some more information to decide whether you still want to go ahead. Carenado have a reputation for not finishing the job properly.
I like it, I def recommend. It’s a fast, steam gauge legacy aircraft with some cool custom avionics, runs well, and is generally really fun. As I said before at the current moment, my other go-to msfs planes are pretty b0rked, and this actually runs well.
The majority of the things that need fixed are Asobo-standard assets and systems, so when asobo updates things hopefully it will update the Carenado M20. (GPS, avionics bugs, fuel leaning.)
Things like the standard views being switched are annoying but I don’t even use those often.
Also I have this problem with the FPS drop when the exterior taxi and landing lights are turned on. Carenado should fix this problem with the taxi and landing lights.
A very good steam gauge aircraft. There aren’t very many options unless you have Premium. That’s why I bought it and it’s great - I’m not disappointed at all.
I found that the rudder trim is wrong animated and indicating. Using the trim left command will cause a right trim indication in the cockpit, and a right trim animation on the rudder… but the plane actually turns left.
Reported on their Zendesk… So they even have a beta team? I am working on the Milviz beta team, and this is so ■■■■ obvious…
I had the avionics problem while flying the Mooney this evening. I was able to do a cold, dark start perfectly, following the method used by the guy in this video:
However, as others have reported, something ■■■■■ happened with my plane, on final approach to LFMN (Nice). I heard a click, and the avionics must have turned themselves off as, when I tried contacting Nice Tower, the game told me that my radio was off. This happened during a solo flight, though I do have all the traffic on. No matter what I tried, I was unable to get anything working again.
It’s good to know I’m not the only one getting this bug though. Hopefully it will get fixed…
