Nov 17 - still crashes when clicking knobs.
This also provides the fastest way to exit MSFS by far. Since it takes almost 1m to quit from MSFS via the main menu, couldnāt this somehow be used as a feature? All has that has to be done is provide one of the Carenado knobs and label it ādonāt touchā.

It takes 1 second either from the plane, or from the main menu by hitting Alt-F4. Just saying.

It was sarcasm, but technically you are correct.
I was just trying to be constructive, how this bug could be used as a feature.

I know, I was kidding, I understand your frustration. But the bug appeared because of an Asobo update, Asobo then told Carenado next update would probably fix things ; when it didnāt (not fully), Carenado then said thay would fix the remaining issues. When the update is ready (if it is not already), if will go through the MS Store validation process.
My point is : itās a long wait when you have a broken plane in hand, but a small part of this delay can be blamed on Carenado.
Il will be interesting to see if the update fixes other issues not related to the Asobo update (like the Vatsim-incompatible xponder, or the absence of checklists), this will tell us if they are serious about supporting their products. I hope so (as a CT182T owner) but I have my doubts.

Days to send to Microsoft (if it is fixed, but we dont know), then it will be tested and pushed to the marketplace. Letās hope the next sim update doesnāt create a new problemā¦

Carenado stated on their Facebook page, somewhere hidden in the announcement of the Pa-44, that new version 1.2 is already submitted to MS. They are reviewing it and it should be up at any moment.
Oh, well thenā¦ alrighty.
Let the speculation about what the new update will bring with it begin.

Hey I just bought the CARENADO ovation M20R but is crash my system and go back to windows All the time i try to use the panel.
For exemple :
- try to adjust TRK Ā° to follow my NAV to VOR = crash
- try to adjust Altitude VS speed = crash
- try to engage AP and choose HDG turning button = crash ?
I spend 30 ā¬ on this addon, is it broken for all ?
I Havnāt got any trouble with all the basics aircraft, i flew a lot on the C152 & G36 without trouble using all the navigation devices ā¦
If broken, can it be refund ?
I am so sad as this ovation is my favourite aircraft and i like this.
PS : I also face a VERY sensitive pitch control ??
The crash is caused when you click on any of the controls in the cockpit that are dials. Instead of clicking, hover over the dial and then use you mouse wheel to change the value.
There is a new version of the M20R that has been submitted to Microsoft that I believe will fix the crashes, but MS hasenāt reviewed it and released it yet. Should be very soon though hopefully.

One would hope they are testing this with their internal code, and letting Carenado know whether there are further issues.
