Updated MSFS patch #6 version 1.10.11.0 today and still getting CTD after a few minutes into the sim with Carenado’s Mooney M20R. I was so looking forward to this update and getting to fly this bird again with no CTDs. Anyone else experiencing this with the latest patch?

I did a flight in the mooney, after the update, with no issues.
Yes I’m still getting CTD in the Mooney when I click to adjust the heading bug.

Yep, two out of three crashes I was starting to turn a knob (CDI and I forget what). Shame - it’s a lovely plane.
Looks like its buggered up still once you start clicking away on the heading/CDI knob…
Anything rotary does it. Clicking on AP dials instead of using the scroll wheel will cause CTD.

Yes, the M20R crashes the sim 5-20 seconds after loading for flight. Come on guys this is a every patch thing, fix something and another pops up.

That doesn’t happen to me. The only way it crashes is if you click on radial dials. Your issue must be something else.

Crashes for me, too.
I have not been able to complete one flight in it.

Like others said, I’ve never had that either. There seems to be two issues in these posts.
- CTD when flying
- CTD when clicking a control that also uses the mouse wheel
Like others here I have #2. But I’ve never had #1.
Fortunately for me I use the Logitech multipanel so I don’t click the controls that cause issue #2 myself so I fly the aircraft a lot. Certainly enough to have #1 if it was a problem with the sim or the plane itself. I don’t use any freeware mods if that might be a hint.

Yeah, I can confirm it’s still very much broken.
The frustrating thing is, you purchase an official add-on, a mandatory update breaks it. No hotfix, nothing. You’re told just sit, wait and be patient for an official update. It finally comes and it’s still broken. Carenado made a fb post a while back saying that Asobo’s update caused the issues and we would have be patient and wait for an official fix from Asobo.

I have found that if you fly it from a small US airport to “joy ride” it will run fine. My other post is when you are trying to fly with a flight plan, it will CTD. I need to do some other testing.
Yes, freeze after adjusting heading and CTD if the altitude knob is touched. VERY disappointing when the update said that problems with 3rd party aircraft had been solved.
If you leave the autopilot alone it fly’s. Touch autopilot and CTD!
Clicking with the mouse button will crash it, but scrolling with the mouse wheel works.
Report it to Carenado.

As if Asobo had been delivering faultless updates so far …
My Mooney have broken HGD to.
Asobo has been doing a great job, with each patch this sim is getting better, stop wasting time on the forum complaining and start to check your computer, 99 of 100 problems are computer related. stop overclocking. and modding the sim
