Its all very frustrating I notice in this whole thing Asobo have never had the decency to remove either of Carenado’s planes from the marketplace, I’m sure if they had it would be much more of an issue for both companies, the fact you could have bought wither one since v5 and still not flown it is wrong.
Just bought it yesterday. Also getting CTD when adjusting ALT/VS or AP changes.
Edit: I have never had a non-OC CTD ever even in the alpha. Doesn’t happen in other planes.
Scroll the knobs. Don’t click them. It’s what’s causing CTDs until they fix it.
Please bring this up to Carenado Support via: https://carenado.zendesk.com
Thanks.
They never said they aren’t fixing it. It’s confirmed they are working on a fix as we speak. This requires patience. Go fly something else. The name-calling (sleazy scammers, dirtbags) is completely uncalled for. Things take time to fix.
I did. I got a reply within 24hours saying they are “working on it”.
I keep defending them because there are some insufferable people out there that expect instant fixes and magic to happen. All without a single idea of how project management and software development actually works. Don’t compare some guy sitting at home making mods (even when some of those mods are amazing) to a developer with multiple aircraft for multiple platform. A couple of weeks for you to wait while problems get sorted out is reasonable. Like I said, fly something else. You know what happened between patches 5 and 6? I didn’t fly Mooney, cause it wasn’t working. Now it mostly works if you use the scrolling workaround, so I am back to flying it. I know the product will get fixed. They do good work and so far I have seen nothing from Carenado that would indicate they don’t fix issues. The first fix was Asobo’s to take care of, so that took 2 weeks - their current cycle for updates. Now it’s Carenado’s turn to fix the other part. Guess what will happen? They will submit it when it’s tested and done, and then they will wait for Microsoft to update their offerings in the Marketplace. Only then it will be rolled out to users. Is that ideal? No, but it’s perfectly reasonable. It’s an issue that came up. These happen in a fast-developing product. And no, I am not affiliated with them. I am simply a person who isn’t entitled to instant fixes to come my way when things go awry. And I don’t give a ____ what you believe one way or another, it has zero effect on me. Continue on your merry way.
Great. So you’ve got a swift response to your query and Carenado are aware of the issue. Please have patience and let the third party developer produce a fix.
