Could someone seriously respond to the OP’s question. All the other issues with it are nice to discuss, but, the original question was about the sounds. Sounds like if the size of the package shrunk that much, they forgot to include some files in the packaging. And that could have happened either with Carenado or with Microsoft.
OP, did you happen to back up the previous install before you upgraded it? I wonder if just replacing the sound.pck file with the old one fixes it?
Yeah, that’s super interesting that the size of the update is reduced by 1GB when it was only 1.7GB to start with.
