Not sure what my problem is. I have a Virtualfly TQ6 quandrant which doesn’t have any buttons. I have tried modifying the axis with Spad.Next but no joy yet. Will keep trying. With respect to longer flights, I find that flying in VR my limit is around an hour. Although I sometimes switch back to 2D and go for coffee. ![]()
Has anyone try the PC12 on sim update 11 beta (Xbox Series X)? I am on the beta and saw that all the gauges are working now. Not sure about fps loss since i havnt been flying that long. Just checking if anyone has tried this on the SU11 beta and see any improvements
I have only tried it with SU11 beta (PC) and it works fine.
I hope you mentioned the inertial separator!
Good point! I showed the inertial separator ON during the icing demo - avoids the potential for ice chunks damaging the engine! Probably should have mentioned it with text also.
On SU11 beta PC and I don’t have gauges ![]()
EDIT - If I disable NanoVG in the Experimental menu I see the gauges normall.
I have the same issue since updating to 22H2. I have emailed Carenado and they have replied that they are ‘looking into it’
Hopefully it get’s updated! ![]()
I have this issue, too - disabling “NanoVG” works, but reduces my cockpit fps by appr. 20%… SO, I do hope that CArenado has a ghood fix in preparation for this… ![]()
Yes, the solution for Carenado is that we should go back to Win 21H2 because they…you can think of the rest ![]()
This can’t be the solution right? Forgive me I can’t tell if this is serious ![]()
7 weeks and counting… In the meantime, I’ve uninstalled this unfinished, bug-ridden Beta preview of a PC12 add-on, and I still want my money back.
I’ve been working on this repaint . Not 100% accurate due to mirrored textures in parts (and not the correct model, of course!).
This is not my doing, Carenado recommended it to a user - read about it somewhere here ![]()
Carenado brushes himself off and says it’s because of the new update of Win 22H2 ![]()
Ohhhhhh ok ok. Gotcha. Wow. Just wow LOL. I don’t see how that’s possible. Their code relies on libraries within the game or that the fake sets. And if those libraries change it’s up to the developer to make changes. Maybe it was stated as a short term fix, but it’s hardly a long term fix. And I’m not backing out an OS update to fix one plane.
Sorry for the rant.
Have you actually found the original source?

i was talking to support and they said i should try rolling back the latest Windows 11 update, but i sort of stopped replying after that, as i wasnt gona start uninstalling security updates so they can not fix their product, but u could try this
An important bit of context is that this was very shortly after the update, and it is unrealistic to expect fixes that quickly. A Windows rollback is, in my opinion, an acceptable short-term workaroumd and I believe that the large Windows updates are generally independent of security updates, so this doesn’t put you under any increased risk.
If Carenado flat-out refused to update the plane at all, that would be a problem, but based on our current game of Chinese Telephone, that is not my read of the situation.
Well, no and no.
Rolling back windows updates as a means to fixing issues with an add-on in a Flight Simulator or game is frightening and bordering on crazy IMHO.
I would say wait for the fix, and more so this needs looking at.
Sadly that is what I am doing. and I may take that a step further and not buy their stuff again until it has had 1 or 2 patches or is on sale.
I just dont think Rolling back OS is a good idea, and also no dev should really be telling customers to roll back os updates unless they are prepared to support it. But thats my feeling. Rolling back OS updates can sometimes go wrong and it is a pain to fix.
My company rolled back some Azure devops Server R2 stuff or something like that, we did not work for that day, all because of something we hardly use. That’s why I said what I said, the server guys know their stuff they run mission critical stuff, they dont mess around… and it went wrong. Now you can’t compare that to a home users OS but the potential for issues is there, is all I am saying.
