Nobody is comparing vs the JustFlight version here. I don’t have it so I can’t. But that’s not the point here. There was a suggestion the Carenado plane is trash. It’s not. It is what it is.
True, I wish they implemented both locks on the door. Carb heat doesn’t seem to work. But, overall, it flies about right, if a bit touchy. But that could be my controller. It does trim out ok (I use a trim axis), but I find it hard to trim to exactly an altitude. For instance, I might want to trim to 3000 ft, it trims just fine to 3200 ft and straight and level, but fights me all the way trying to get to 3000, no matter how much I over/under shoot to get the altitude I want. Weird.
Overall, though, everything is there for me to practice my checklists and flying, and performance is pretty much right on for power settings.
