It seems that the flight plan has to be made in EFB and then file to ATC. Then it will show a route on EHSI. It still doesn’t look anything like real Saabs EHSI. In addition, EFB won’t send the flight plan to avionics, ie. UNS-1.
So as someone stated earlier, the link between EHSI and UNS-1 is broken. It doesn’t matter what is the current flight plan in UNS-1, EHSI will show only the atc-filed flight plan. Which is quite… interesting way to implement this.
I really wish we will some day (not too far away in future) have a real, premium deluxe -level Saab 340B to enjoy. Be it this stock version or ie. Blacksquare -update to avionics.
