Carenado Seminole beeping

Just bought it on sale. What’s the beeping noise when I pull the throttles back? Thanks in advance.
John

Probably the gear not down warning. The aircraft doesn’t expect you to pull the throttles all the way back if you’re not landing.

there is a button to silence the gear horn warning sound.

It’s warning that your gear is not down. You can avoid this by pressing a button that is located next to the oil pressure warning light (if I remember the position correctly).

Thanks folks, I didn’t know about the buzzer mute button :+1:, that was driving me nuts, it’s set pretty high on the throttle travel, and it’s tricky to slow the plane down to flap speed without getting your ears buzzed off.

Tks for all the replies.

Yes, the Seminole does make your ears bleed a bit, doesn’t it?

Ahh yes… music to my “gear not down” ears! :joy:

Not sure if the beeping is better or worse than the fancy planes that say “landing gear! landing gear!”
