After today’s update to 1.3 the HSI is inop. Heading bug moves but compass card and cdi are frozen
DO you have other Carenado addons, apparently the HSI can conflict. In particular the WACO causes issues with the Seminole, search the forums for fixes.
Thanks for the heads up @tastyTeast I was planning on flying this on the Greek tour this evening. As @EdamllamaB it could be an interaction with the Waco. To confirm, shut down the sim, move rather than delete the Waco folder if you have that plane, out of the folder, and re-test. If it still doesn’t work then it’s not the Waco, and you can copy it back.
Actually when I get a minute, I will do this myself, copying out the un-upgraded Seminole , download then update to test, then revert by copying back the original Seminole folder.
I do not own the Waco, so I cannot test that.
1.2 Seminole, no Waco, it works.
I recently posted a solution to this - WACO YMF is causing HSI problems in PA44 seminole - #9 by quelcertoleo
maybe it helps you.
Okay, that’s annoying. I tried to upgrade the Seminole, and it hung right at the end with “Please wait”. I left it for a few minutes, and nothing happened, so I killed the sim. I’ve had this happen before, so repeated what I did the last time.
Outside the sim, delete the entire Seminole folder, relaunch the sim, then re-download the aircraft via the Content Manager.
Again, it downloaded the entire archive, but then sits at “Please wait”, and had been like that for 10 minutes now. I compared the downloaded archive to the backed up 1.2 version I have elsewhere, nad there are 520 files, and 13 folders, so are exactly the same.
It also shows as a folder, and not an archive file, so extraction has completed.

The Esc key works, which takes me out of Content Manager, but the rest of the interface is entirely frozen. How odd!
The two scenery packages below that updated okay though.
I can confirm that version 1.3.1 of the Seminole:
HSI Course, and Heading knobs work, and are animated
The compass rotates as you change heading
It likely is an interaction with the Waco in that case.
I quit the sim when it hung on the download/install of the Seminole update, and on re-launch it reports the aircraft is up to date, and is flyable. I guess that’s another Zendesk ticket for me.
