It happens to me every time as well. After skip you always get low airspeed, flaps not always though, but sometimes and inappropriate trim happens as well. This is not only with passenger transport (737) though, I had the same problems with medium cargo, medevac, basically everywhere where you can skip to descent. It rarely puts you into the perfect position, but with smaller aircraft it is easier to recover. Thankfully I didn’t have yet to spawn on the airport level or too low, lowest was I think 3000 ft with 737, it is still very hard to recover. With pc-12 lowest was about 300ft above the airport descending to the runaway with no clearance. I rarely do skip to descent, but when I do, I know its a gamble. Shouldn’t be though. I hope they will fix it.
