Hello,
I’ve started reinstalling MSFS yesterday. Note that it was working on the same PC and the same OS install beforehand.
Yesterday, I believe it crashed once and after restarting the program it would continue downloading for a bit.
At some point, however, the game started to crash during the loading screen before reaching the main menu. I had downloaded some other marketplace content so I tried to remove it from the folder, but to no avail. So I decided to completely wipe the install of MSFS (both the Steam install and the folder containing “Community” and “Official”) and try again.
Today, I was a little more cautious, and after the initial install of the game had finished I decided to only download the world updates, all except for Japan.
The game crashed, again. This is the progress in the file system:
The error in the event viewer is always the same:

I will try to delete the downloaded world update parts and try downloading everything but the USA one (which is the one it crashed at) and see how it goes, I will update this post as I go along.
So, I’ve deleted everything BELOW pc-fs-base-bigfiles, and rebooted the game, to find it’s CTD’ing in the loading screen, again! HELP
Please advise.
