Cessna 152 Instrument Lighting

Is there a way to control the backlighting on the 152’s instruments? When flying in 2D I thought they didn’t have any backlight and was using the red panel lighting. When I’m in VR, I can see that they do have a smidge of backlight. But it is such a small amount I can’t make out airspeed.

I don’t want jacked up lighting, but I should be able to at least see something. Using the overhead light in VR becomes too overpowering.

Hi,
I have one of the toggle switches on my Bravo Throttle set for “cabin light” which does the job (in VR) I’m guessing this is the one you find a bit overpowering?
It seems fine for me, but then I don’t do a lot of night flying.

Regards
Steve

C152 JPL is your answer. Much better than the default C152 in every conceivable sense (instrument lighting included) and we’re expecting a huge update in the near future.

As mentioned the JPLogistics mod will give you allot more control over the lighting amongst other things.
