Cessna 152 keep pulling left during the flight xbox x serie with tb v1

Is there a way to maintain a straight flight without turning the yoke toward right to compensate the force going to the left?

Also, when turning right or left, it is like the plane react slowly when I turn the yoke and suddenly, the plane overshoot over 30 degrees when turning

Thanks for your support

This is known as “P” factor in single engine piston airplanes and is how they operate in real life. If you wish to have the sim counteract this for you automatically then go into your assists and enable Auto Rudder.

Be sure to test with the Clear Skies weather preset. You can also delete the wind layer completely to be sure there is no wind.
A crosswind has a big impact on how the modules handle.

already in all assists in assistance options. So auto-rudder is on.

thanks for your guidance. I have just made a short trip of 30 minutes between 2 airports and I got to counter balance to maintain the direction but I didn’t new about the wind and the way to delete this layer. Will try that on my next short trip.

Have you taken a look at the ‘sensitivities’ page that can be found when looking at the controls page? maybe you need to create a wider dead zone?

wider dead zone on wich axis?

I am newbi with sim

Thanks for your help

From the main home page, up at the top, you can select ‘Options’ which brings up a page that has three sections. The far right section is for ‘Controls’. When you click on that it brings up a page that lists all detected controls along the top and just under that, over to the left, above the area that allows you to search for an input, it says ‘sensitivity’. If you click that it brings up a window that allows you to adjust sensitivity and dead zones on your controls. It may be that one of your axis isn’t quite centered by default and thats causing your issue. Also note that this may not be your issue at all in which case Im not sure what else to suggest. try to find what Im talking about though.

ok. thanks for your help. i will check this module and i will tell you.

This is a good video for setting up controls. It shows how to adjust sensitivities.

Here is what I do to eliminate pulling to the left during takeoff rolls and unwanted rolling during flight. I edit the flight_model.cfg file for each aircraft. For my windows PC, the aircraft files are located at:

Downloaded aircraft: C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\Community

Official aircraft:
C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\Official\OneStore

  1. Open the folder for the aircraft.
  2. Navigate to … > SimObjects > Airplanes > aircraft name > flight_model.cfg
  3. In flight_model.cfg, set p_factor_on_yaw=0 and set torque_on_roll=0
  4. Save the file

In the official aircraft, if Asobo replaces flight_model.cfg with an updated file, then you will also need to update the file to restore your desired settings. Fortunately that does not happen very often, and these settings take less than a minute to do.

Also note that some aircraft available in the MSFS Marketplace have encrypted .cfg files which prevent you from making custom changes. This why, whenever possible, I acquire aircraft from third parties rather than from the Marketplace.

Because I am using Xbox serie x, do you any clue similar to windows version?

Thanks for help
