Cessna 172 in career mode throttle wont stay in - keeps popping out, its fine in free flight mode

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:
When in career mode the stock 172 cessna throttle keeps popping back out after I push it in. No issues with the 172 in free flight

If applicable, which aircraft is experiencing this issue: Cessna 172

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE Happens every time I try to fly in career mode

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Cleared all of my control assignments
  2. Took everything out of the community folder
  3. Checked free flight mode to see if I could reproduce Throttle issues

What peripherals are you using, if relevant:
Saitec throttel. I also disable this and unassaigned everything and it still wont stay in

[PC Only] Are you using Developer Mode or have you made any changes to it? I used the FPS counter

[PC, MSFS 2020 Only] Are you using DX11 or DX12?
DX 12

[PC Only] What GPU (Graphics Card) do you use?
RTX 4090

This happened to me, but only on the first flight you ever do in career mode. I think it’s happening because the “instructor” is controlling the plane. Ignore it and proceed. It never happened to me again.

I kept remapping my controls thinking I was a problem. But it was only the first mission.

Yeah this happened to me as well and the solution was unbiding the keyobard key that was set for the throttle. (I have Hotas so no point in using keyboard for throttle.)

how am I able to start the mission in the C172 if i cant use the throttle because it is popping out . Did you babysit it for the whole flight? Also i cleared binding for it on every device and it still does it. At least I found another person with my issue that gives me hope!

Hey Thanks! You were right, as soon as I turned the key to start the plane somehow when the instructor took over my controls went to normal. I was frustrated for 3 days. I hope they fix this bug.

Glad it helped! Yeah the game has tons of bugs, I’m suffering in the career mode lol. Hopefully they will fix all bugs soon.
