Cessna 172 standard disappeared from aircraft menu, Deluxe PC edition
What is going on, when is this bug fixed?
Is the only way the 6hours installation again or what to do

What does Content Manager say? Does it show installed or need upgrading?

Need more info on what troubleshooting you did.

my content manager is not showing that plane, but i was flying it all the time, but now it is gone.

If you purchased from the Microsoft store, go into Settings, then into “Apps and features.” Find Flight Sim and click on it. Click on “Advanced…” - you should see an option to “Repair.”

I’d try that first, see if it helps…

If you installed MSFS into the default folder, see if this folder “asobo-aircraft-c172sp-classic” is in:
C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\Official\OneStore

c172sp-classic

In the “asobo-aircraft-c172sp-classic” folder should be 2 folders 10 files:

Sorry, I didn’t see your reply as you didn’t reply to me.

See if you can “remove” (uninstall) that 172 from the Content Manager. Put a check there, then click “Remove” (I think it says remove). Then exit from MSFS and go back into the Content Manage and redownload it.

A big question no one has asked you is if you’re tried to install any liveries for the plane. A LOT of the premium liveries you can download don’t work properly and can cause the plane to disappear, too.

Before you do anything, if you have any liveries for the 172 classic, remove them and see if it comes back. If it does, that livery needs to be modified to work properly. There are a myriad number of issues that the mods can have since Asobo has not given us official instructions on how to create a livery, especially for the premium aircraft.

Hi

How come all the aircrafts are in the patch described, But not in the contents manager.

I did not do anything, at, all just shot it down for a week and open again, after that planes is missing.

i delete the plane, how to get it back in.

Hi Henrik,
It sounds like you purchased the Deluxe version of the game, but you’re not seeing the Deluxe features after installation.

If you’re sure you’ve installed the game properly, I would go to Support at the top of the menu and look for instructions for people who are having the problem you are describing.

If you are still unable to get the 152 from content manager from the steps other members have posted in your topic, wait until next update.

On 22 December, there is an update coming out. Updates will check that all your official content is there and current.

Important: Prior to updates, get in the habit of doing this:

  1. Check Windows 10 for updates - if any, restart your PC
  2. Check that your Graphic Drivers are up to date - if any, restart your PC
  3. Check MS Store for updates (Steam users as well) - if any, restart your PC
  4. Move out all content from the Community folder of MSFS
  5. STEAM USERS: Check for updates to MSFS
  6. Launch MSFS
