Cessna 172 with G1000 Altitude knobs interval issue

Hi Simmers
I have problem with altitude knobs on Cessna 172. So in the normal situation little knob has 100 ft value and the big has 1000 ft value “per click”. My problem is the little knob has 168 ft and the big 1680 “per click”. Is this a bug or i have wrong settings?

Sorry for my terrible english

Thanks for help

I think I saw this type of issue in another (old) report. It is more likely related to a G1000 setup where you can configure meters vs feet. You should look at a configuration screen where you can change this type a value.

I’ll check it. Thank you.

I can’t find a unit of conversion that would be close to this amount of offset. I have noted that the first click you make brings you to the field elevation rounded up to the nearest 100 feet, but that’s not what the OPs seeing. 168 meters is 551.1811 feet. 168 feet is 51.2604 meters.

Have a look at that post: G1000 altitude selection in strange increments - #2 by Vibstronium

That was the problem. PFD Output → ALT Units → Meters ON. I set it off and problems gone.
