It will have an effect though, just that aircraft amplifies it perhaps.
Some aircraft have been designed to work with yokes with long throws on pitch, which that joystick can’t hope to match. For my yoke, I might be able to pull that back an inch, but on that stick that same movement may be only a few millimetres.
I wrote something about these things elsewhere. And this was comparing two yokes. Joysticks have even less movement from centre to their extremities than yokes. They may have high resolution hall sensors, but without the physical travel on the stick, that’s only half the battle.
