ISSUE DESCRIPTION
Description of the issue: The Cessna 408 has the following issues that I’ve found so far:
- LOD on the FMS keyboard is such that they letters on the keys are not visible from the default head position and zoom level. You need to zoom in for them to appear.
- Using the softkeys on the PFD to set the XPDR code results in each key press being counted twice. It is impossible to manually set the correct code.
- Pressing “XPDR” on the FMS keyboard and trying to enter the code there does not work at all.
- Vertical speed/airspeed knob on autopilot control panel works backwards.
- Autopilot does not hold VS correctly. It is about 150fpm off in level descents, and this gets worse in turns.
- Propellor governor seems a bit too slow to respond and allows the props to overspeed even after very small throttle adjustments.
If applicable, which aircraft is experiencing this issue: Cessna 408 Skycouier
[PC Only] Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? If yes, are you still experiencing the issue? YES
FREQUENCY OF ISSUE
How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)? Always
REPRODUCTION STEPS
Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:
- Most of these are self-explanatory.
- However for the autopilot issues, start in level flight, and select VS and command a descent rate. You will notice that the aircraft does not hold that descent rate correctly.
- Then, change the heading of the aircraft. You will see that the descent rate increases rather than holding stable.
