I was a little disappointed to see that the AAU1 brought some changes in the FMC so now it lack some functions that were inside before, among others the config page with that selection. But ofcourse The PFD MENU is really like the real one.
CJ4 walkaround is great, but all liveries have extremely bad and noticeable z-clipping with the paint. Iām not sure how the liveries work in the game engine, but considering itās not any other planes (that Iāve seen), it should be an easy fix.
I had my first flight in the CJ4 yesterday, and noticed that the CKLST is inop on the FMC. Also it automatically imported my in game flight plan (yay) but I couldnāt delete the inconsistencies. Any idea why those features arenāt there?
Checklist has not ever been in the updated CJ4. As far as deleting discontinuities, that works, but you canāt delete one after a VECT leg, because by definition thatās a leg in which ATC would vector you, this there is no defined flight path.
Thanks! I presume I could manually add a new waypoint to make the leg valid, and then delete the inconsistency. Do I need to install the mod to get the checklists?
Iāve been revisiting the CJ4 in 2024 the last couple of days. Iām having a really hard time keeping her straight on the runway. She will suddenly veer off in one direction or the other, like there is a problem with the high speed ground handling or friction. This is with light or no crosswind. Anyone else seeing this issue?
Thanks, I will check when I get home, but I donāt think itās my controls.
The same thing happens to this streamer in this video https://youtu.be/_swx9hOKgS8?t=1816 The winds for him in this video are 13kt crosswind with a slight tailwind component of 10 degrees. (Departing on 22L winds 320/13)
It sometimes happens on landing also after slowing on the runway, before I even touch the brakes.
Having been out of the sim for a few months waiting for the VIP charter missions to come back, I returned to find one, loaded up my brand new CJ4 and it immediately had engine malfunction and now needs $2.4m in repairs. So now after all of that, I need to grind $2.4m in employee jobs to get it back working!!!
Infuriating, this sim just consistently sets you back. Is this normal that engines could just stop working and need to be replaced before even getting airborne?
I have the same issue, definitely not my controls either, because I fly a dozen other planes and this never happens. I used the external cam view on take off and landing, sure enough the rudder goes full 90 degrees to the tail all by itself, no matter which direction Iām doing my rudder. If thereās more than 5kt of wind this happens every time. So this is a glitch that needs reported.
