MSFS’s KMTN has no airport beacon (that emits light) !!!
yet, W48 (Essex Skypark), that has not has an Airport beacon for years in RL, has a MASSIVE big beacon Tower, in MSFS, right at the threshold of it’s runway !!!
And when it did have a beacon, it was on a telephone pole, over by the Office Building, just visible to the right of this screenshot
Has anyone been able to figure out how to get the windshield heat on? In the real aircraft the windshield heat is maintained continuously and automatically, so I would expect there’d be a switch for it. But now that its winter in the northeast the windshield glazes over so quickly.
I don’t think de-ice even works. I passed through a layer coming into KBOS and it didn’t even fully melt until I was on the ground for 10 minutes.
It seems to work if you also switch on the “engine anti ice” … maybe they are needed … no freeze during climb starting at -4°C
Noticed the 3D animation for the brake pedals is wrong. Both are pushed all the way forward and when you touch them they come all the way back and progress normally as you push down on the axis.
A new patch is up - V1.41 of the Cessna Citation Longitude Flight Dynamics Modification Project is available at flightsim.to. This will permit continued use of the mod with Asobo’s newest software update.

After the last Update the Longitude is heavily oscillating left and right around the NAV Track when in NAV mode. Do you think you can do anything about that?
I really like your work and it has greatly improved the Longitude and made it my Fav Plane but at the moment its unusable for me due to the NAV behaviour.

Thank you. That issue has been reported by others and I’ve confirmed myself. I will attempt to resolve and will push an update if / when I find a solution. Hopefully within next few days. In meantime the alternative isn’t great, but heading hold still works to hold course. Just means having to babysit your flight plan.
- Updates coming in that this appears to be a problem with default Longitude as well (not just a problem with my mod package) and appears to be affecting CJ4 to a lesser extent. It may be that Asobo have broken the NAV hold mode logic in the sim.

The cockpit tooltip for R ELECT is reversed.
Has all the problems with the plane banking from right to left with the ap on? did not have this issue before the update

Gordon, just a thought - if you go West to East around the world you should have a much better chance as you would be going with the prevailing winds.
Good shout actually - assuming the live weather is accurate. I will look into flying the route backwards! Many thanks for the idea

I am so happy to read that the new patch adjusted the fuel capacity and the weight of the plane. I haven’t flown the patched Cessna Longitude yet, but I am looking foreward to the (hopefully) better range.
Interim patch is up on flightsim.to for the Longitude flight dynamics modification project to correct NAV hold mode problems introduced by Asobo in the last update. This issue was reported to affect both the stock Longitude and this modification package. I’ve done some testing for this patch and haven’t seen further problems, but if any of you continue to see problems while in NAV mode, please let me know.
