CFD visible when cloud base is low

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

I wanted to create a photograph with the Cloudbase low enough to fill the valleys. When I set this up the CFD was visible above the cloud layer. When the wind was set to zero it disappeared. CFD was disabled in the settings.

Tried with several different aircraft, with the same result.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

Each time I set the Cloudbase low

What you are seeing is not CFD related (so no matter it is OFF or ON) but the thermals (related to the “Show 3D thermal” option in the weather window at the bottom"). They should not appear since you have it turned off. Could you activate and deactivate it to check if the visualization stays on or goes away ?

FYI, CFD are those visualization lines around the aircraft:

Could you indicate the exact location where you took your screenshots and 1st layer cloud settings to try to reproduce ?

ALT-6 for thermals.

Thanks for your reply. I hadn’t realised the thermals were a separate setting. I must have accidentally set it whilst fiddling with the cloud layer! Here’s what I was trying to achieve!
