Can someone tell me the difference between an aircraft cfg file and a .aircraft file?
A *.cfg file is a file that you can use a text editor to make changes such as tail number and so forth. I have no idea what a *.aircraft file is. I don’t have any and I believe file extensions have to be 3 characters long? Where did you see one?
.Air file = aircraft file. It describes the controls used for that particular plane I believe.
I recall from older FS days you can’t just edit it using Notepad. There are specialty editors for that.
It was in a livery addon for the CRJ700.
