If you want to change of aircraft when youa are on runway you have always had to go out of MSFS? There is no a quicker path?
If you activate the developers menu, you can switch planes easily, check the top tabs in it.

Sorry, and where is the developers menu? In general, developers; but here is only activate or desactivate.
If you activate that, you will have toolbar enabled. There look for aircraft selector

The Developers menu is the last one under the options listing. You can activate it, and once saved the menu bar at the top will appear, allowing you to select from the ground (and change airports among other things too)

Once save the menu bar I only can select two aircraft: Grand Caravan, Cessna 172. No other. I was in DA62.
Im at work right now so I wont be able to verify but I think there was a filter checkbox to limit the available choices. Similar to that in the main menu. I could be totally wrong, but for some reason I vaguely remember there being one.
