Dear pilots,
I am thinking about changing from the Gamepass Version to the Retail Disk Version (not Steam!) of the sim in order to save monthy expenditure.
Is there a way to perform this change without running into the need to fully download the game again?
Perhaps someone can help me as searching the inet didn’t bring up any results.
Thanks guys!
Edit: I dowloaded the Gamepass Deluxe Version. I am planning to buy the standard version of the game as I do not need the extra planes, that come with the deluxe version. Perhaps this is important for answering.
I did exactly this and don’t recall having to reload the game, but it was maybe 2 years ago so don’t remember the details.

I hope you mean MS Store version and not the actual physical disk version?
If you buy the MS store version, do it while you have a game pass subscription. This will give you a 15% (iirc) reduction.
You shouldn’t need to re-install it and all your marketplace-bought addons keep working.
Make sure you select the correct version! Premium Deluxe is now pretty actractive, given the 787 will receive a huge update soon and you get a permanent discount in the marketplace for 1st party aircraft.
Gamepass has the default version included. If you have the Deluxe update, you would have paid for that at some point.
