Changing aircraft in Bush Trip

Not long ago, i was doing a bush trip and some of it was in the dark, i managed to alter the time of day and it worked, so i have also succeeded to change the aircraft? trouble is, the garmin panels wont switch on. Ive changed to a DA62 for the Nevada trip.

Go to Developer- mode and change your plane. No need to edit the flt-file.

how do i do that for the particular bush trip and do you leave developr mode on even when you’ve chosen the plane?

After you enter your bushtrip, press Esc, select General, select Developers, select ON, go back, Esc. In the developer-toolbar go to Windows, Aircraft Selector and select your desired plane, Load and press the X. The new plane will load and wait for all the screens to initialize. You can turn off Developer-mode now and fly. That’s it. If you complete your leg, or somewhere in between, you will restart with your selected plane again, so no need to switch.

Cheers, thanks for that, I’m going to try that right now.

That’s brilliant mate, thanks very much and the Garmin panels are on… excellent.

Glad I could help. Enjoy your bushtrips

A small addition: if you change to a plane with substantial differences in flight dynamics, for instance X-Cub to DA62, you may encounter difficult handling on approach or slow speed.

I have the DA 62, everything good so far, Leg 7 next.
