Changing approach or flight plan causes crash in various planes

I’ve noticed multiple times flying various aircraft, making changes to the flight plan in the FMS leads to FS freezing and crashing. For instance, I was just flying the SR-22 west of KMKC and was entering the descent altitude waypoint information and the sim just crashed back to desktop. Earlier today I was in the Citation Latitude, flying VOR to VOR from KEYW to the Bahamas. I tried to change flight plan and go direct to airport and ■■■■ thing crashed again.

This is driving me crazy…

Has anyone opened tickets for this yet?

CTD when adding approach to the flight plan

yup. we’ve a thread on this already! edit: please log/report it to zendesk. i have - and they have marked it as “solved”… that was two patches ago already.

Ahh I wasn’t searching the term CTD. Thank you for the information… and when I say I’m editing the flight plan, I’m doing it inside the FMS while in flight.

I’m running…

Windows 10 Pro (build 19042)
Intel 7700K
16 gigs ram
rtx 3080 video
850 watt ps
and my xbox controller is attached…

The first crash today in the latitude was just a freeze, the process didn’t die but was not responsive in task manager. The second crash in the SR-22 was a CTD.
