I wonder if the problem is a bug of some sort in SU5 that Asobo will fix at some point. Or, if it is a change to the way cameras / menus work in SU5 that will require changes to CP.
I usually enroll in the beta flighting but not willing to use the sim without CP anymore. Hope it gets sorted quickly.
My guess is that MSFS changed the API for views and cameras on SU5 beta. And, as Chaseplane is based ont those API they have a lot of work to recompile everything. But that is only a guess. I would like it to work on SU5 beta too 
Chaseplane isnt using an API, because there was none. MSFS is planning one, but I dont think that will be realized in SU5 already. However, it might means changes already now to the internal camera system that makes Chaseplane unusable at the moment.
Exactly. Which is great news because it finally gives us external access to the cameras.
Good news but I remember it is was a huge undertaking to get CP working in FS2024. While this may be good in the long term, I hope it is not a huge lift for the developers. Will be bummed if it is not working when SU5 releases because of this.
