Anyone else ‘checking for updates’ on startup takes almost 5 minutes ?

SU11 start day. Servers very busy.
May even take a few days to calm down.
Hi! I know this post is old, but nowadays (2023) it still takes too long sometimes to start the sim because of the eternal “checking for updates” screen. I am getting very tired of the bugs and this long waiting time.
