Checking for updates XBox s

Hello. To whom it may concern.
Im using an XBox s Series. Whether flying, working on Aircraft, System goes to main screen saying checking for updates!! Why does it do this? Anyway to turn this feature off?

This is strange one and not one I have seen myself (on XSX).

On mine it always checks for updates when you are in the loading phase.

@GloomyLake935 Same for me, never seen it do this other than the loading screen. Have you tried a hard reboot of the Xbox and a “quit” of the sim from the Xbox main menu screen?

No problem.

Only thing I would add to EchoEightSix’ advice is to sign out in the game before you the ‘quit’ and console restart. I had this resolve some issues I have had in the past after updates.
If you need any further advice on how to do the any of above just let us know.

Got it working. Went into my account changed the the sign in and password. Did a flight, no CT’s!
