The eye symbol at the end of each checklist item isn’t working anymore. I must have turned something off without really knowing what I’m doing. I want to become familiar with the MB-339 cockpit using the checklist. Can anybody tell me how I bring that function to life again?
Which aircraft are you using? I have the problem with the Aerosoft Twin Otter. But other airplanes like the C172 or the A32NX are working here.
As the Topic Author stated, they’re flying a Third Party aircraft (MB-339). This is likely something only the manufacturer can fix. With that, this is moved to #third-party-addon-discussion:aircraft
Having this trouble in MSFS 2024. I’m trying to get it to show me where to look for the checklist items on the walk-around, but it doesn’t display anything when I click the eye icons on the tablet. Am I the only one experiencing this issue?
Thanks,
Kevin
I see the same problem in MSFS2024. The eye on the checklist items for walk around seems not to work.
And the problem is that you need to finish the walk-around in order for the aircraft to function properly. I know this is what pilots do in the real world, but sometimes I want to just get to flying. With the current system, you’d really have to be a r/w pilot of the aircraft to complete all of those items. It would be nice if they had it like in 2020 where the co-pilot could automatically complete the items, or if hitting CTRL + E would bypass it and just start the engine.

I haven’t looked into it deeply enough yet and still don’t understand it. I saw the more than 70 items in the A330 work-around checklist and thought, I can’t work through all that, where are these things at all, but the eye symbols don’t work. Maybe it’s better on other aircraft.
But I have set the clickspots for the work-around and there are only a few, on the nose wheel etc., remove the cover, remove the blocks and I can get into the cockpit and go.
Otherwise it might be possible to skip the walk-around press “shift+c” and use the aircraft EFB to set things up… I will give it a try…
Just some helpful tips here:
You have to do them one at a time… Just checking done is not enough.
Plus for the people who say doing this is making it more realistic. Yesterday while removing engine covers from a A320 (something no pilot should ever had to do) I was watching game ground folks physically walk through the airplane that I am working on.
That helped add to the real world feeling of the game!
Also in the new Career Mode you can hit ALT + N to skip all pre-flight checks. So they KNEW it was stupid in Career Mode and gave you a skip option!
