Came across this yesterday not far from San Antonio, TX on my way to Huston.
What’s this place called?
That’s not a whole lot to go on. Do you have the flight plan you were following, coordinates, or anything to make it a bit easier to locate?
It does look pretty cool though, I may putter around that area this afternoon and see if I can spot it.
Think that’s the Air Force base (don’t remember the name) just East of San Antonio.

I looked it up on Bing Maps. That appears to be Randolph Air Force Base just east of San Antonio, TX.
It’s Randolph AFB - KRND
Those are pretty sweet villas for an AFB. No wonder the budget is over 700 billion.
