Cirrus autopilot does not work correctly

I finally have a fresh install of 2020 after being absent for several months.
Doesn’t seem like much has changed.

Now the issue is that the Cirrus autopilot does not work correctly. My fav AC.
It does track, but the VS setting does whatever it wants … the aircraft constantly climbs.

Help would be appreciated.

Windows 10 Prof 64 bit … up to date.

A couple of things come to mind:
Do you have any assists turned on?
Do you have the cruise altitude (ALT SEL) set?

If you’re not using the Working Title G1000 NXi, you might want to. It may or may not address VS but it won’t hurt either.

In options I turned off LOCK and choose LEGACY. Now no noticable problems.
