Hi guys, I’m wondering if some could help me out, on my Cirrus SR22 I can turn on AP, VS works, but when I turn my NAV mode on it turns on but doesn’t keep me on the line on my flight plan, it just continues to fly straight wherever I’m facing.

Do you have screenshots so we can see what it is set to and where on the course you are? Does Nav mode show as being armed in the flight mode annunciator, or active? Also wondering if your CDI is set to LOC or GPS.
The autopilot is just fine. You can’t just click Nav in any configuration and it become active. Either you don’t have the correct CDI source selected or you are not close enough and on a small enough intercept angle to the intended course.
NAV arms but will not activate unless you intercept the Magenta line and are within two dots DTK. NAV will remain White until those factors are met, then start blinking. Aircraft will bank to true course then NAV will remain illuminated.
