Same thing for King Air 350i

I have 2 Vision Jets and just unlocked VIP Charter.

Bought a King Air for the VIP but it won’t spawn any missions for it.

There do seem to be VIP missions, but I can’t select the King Air to fly them and they don’t seem any different in pay out than the previous charter missions. Only difference is in description Charter Mission vs. VIP Charter Mission.

If you select Change aircraft and select another plane, only the vision jets are available.

Seems like I just wasted a bunch of dough on a king air that I can’t use.

You have to Complete the tier 2 Vip mission in the employee section, after that tier 2 missons unlock in freelance mode.

where is that mission? not seeing it on my map. i did the BBJ one in europe, but that wasn’t the tier 2 VIP.

I had to complete all the VIP airliner missions first,.waas like 4 of them.

Interesting, I only see one in LA and it keeps coming back despite having done it twice. Did they appear one after the other or was they all available from the start do you remember?

I saw on Twitter an update server side adds ‘missing missions’ which includes VIP Charters, however I still see nothing for the Longitude.

I saw only ONE vip charter mission Yesterday - did it - and it never came back.

Also the other user is incorrect. there are TWO gold missions for charter.

  • the other two he is referring to is likely in confusion - as missions with a gold star icon are just random spawns which appear periodically and are not required.
  • and there are also passenger missions for airliners - not charter - as gold missions.

You complete the one that keeps popping up every day with atleast A rating and the others should pop up, it feels like this is extremely buged and to be honest the mission is really buged aswell, restarts are almost mandatory on that one because the of issues.
I really hope that they get the bug fixed so that we don’t have to fly those buggy missions every day to maybe unlock VIP airliner, because even if you complete them every day its not certain that any VIP airliner missions spawn anyways.

The missions i had for the citation was in Dubai im currently keeping the citation and king air on crew flights until they fix the bug and just grind medium cargo missions and unlocking more and more parts of the map, atleast Ive made certain that i wont miss the missions when they finally start spawning as they should.

What is the deal here? Did the devs not finish the game? Why is it that there aren’t any VIP missions for my CJ4? I saved up, finally bought the plane, and now haven’t been able to fly for almost 3 weeks. This is beyond ridiculous at this point, seeing an update go out for an unrelated issue today infuriated me.

I haven’t done this myself, but I’ve heard it’s not really worth allowing crew to fly the more expensive aircraft due to the repair costs being so high compared to the income they bring in…

Actually that seems to have been fixed, plus the insurance is balanced now wich makes it way better. I make about 2mill in passive income every day after maintanance costs

Hmm, I may not be getting A with these flights as I seem to end up having a fight with ATC and then trying to land in LA without somehow slipping up on what it’s asking me to do. Typical MSFS2024 antics! Haha.

I will try and focus on getting at least an A on it then, if it spawns again. I haven’t seen it reappear for about two days though…

I’ve gone and unlocked the areas in Dubai by fast travel in prep too. Will see what happens! As you said though it doesn’t seem reliable at all. Thanks.

So here is an update to my OP after another thread was recently closed:

Now this is a serious problem.

  • Ok so you will get maybe one mission a day.
  • You will have to transfer your plane to wherever the mission is which negates any income you might get
  • 13 hour flight on average for only 1 million credits ( which often is lost due to plane transfer anyways).
  • then possibly not see a mission for days.

This is unsatisfactory - and formally makes tier 2 charters completlely and utterly worthless.

Ther’s hundreds of real life charters flying every day.
Not just for the rich or famous, but also corporate businessmen and owners.

And they are NOT exclusive to two ro three places - this is still a mostly world wide thing.

I am confident the majority of pilots who own Cj4 or Citation in the sim will find this extremely disappointing.

Odd, I guess all those private jets coming out of HPN and thousands of other airports around the US and world are just headed out to Dubai to pick up their passengers. :rofl: :rofl:
