I am thinking the same normally, but finally gave up with waiting.
It took me a while, to find the community folder and how to install the mods into it.
Now, I am a happy pilot on my Longitude with my @Dakfly0219 mod. Even if the mod has some little issues after an Asobo update, magic Dakfly jumps in the Supermann Costume and fixes it within hours. Together with the G3000 mod, this plane is in my oppinion the best plane to fly in MSFS.
But you are right too, Asobo shows no attention on this plane, and they should fix it.
For me, life is too short for waiting, I reported a few times this issue to Zendesk. Now, I have a 3rd party solution in a quality, which will be never reached by Asobo, I guess.
